State Forest Park at Jiushan Mountain is constituted of views like Woniu Lake Scenic Spot, Jiushan Cave and Chanku Cave. Woniu Lake Scenic Spot, covering an area of 21,000 mu, is an artificial lake whose volume is 103 million cubic meters and area is 11.1 square meters. It is constructed in 1958 by Fengyang people through their intelligence and sweat, and is also called Fengyang Mountain Reserve. Here are green peaks rising upon another, tall bamboos and thick forest of trees, floating mountains and flying clouds, wild goose flying in the sky and fish jumping in the water. In Jiushan Cave and Buddhist Cave, stalactites and stalagmites of varied shapes are bold and unconstrained. Being deep, huge, perilous, marvelous and ancient, the two caves, showing a magnificent style, are well-developed ones which are rarely seen to the northern part of the Yangtze River.

Jiushan Cave:

The main cave of Jiushan Cave is 1,472 meters from east to west, and the side cave, interlinked with the Bat Cave in the North Mountain, is over four thousand meters in length, so Jiushan Cave is awarded with the Number One Cave to the northern part of the Yangtze River. It is composed of five great scenic spots, namely, a Coiling Dragon and a Couching Tiger, Picking Stars and Grasping the Moon, Deep Gorges and Valleys, Inverted Green Peaks Reflected in Clear Streams, and Boats in Jade-green Streams. In these scenic spots, there are more than 20 important sights. As a famous tourist attraction in the eastern area of the Yangtze River, Jiushan Cave, a combination of natural sceneries and human sites, is a good place for you to relax yourselves.
