Yellow Mountain  Region belongs to the humid sub-tropical monsoon climate with four distinctive seasons. Spring and autumn are short, taking up two months individually; summer and winter are long, taking up four months individually. The area is warm and wet having a lot of rain throughout the year.

But it's high season and the area is more crowded and it cost a bit more to travel. Winter is cold up in the mountain and snow is common seen. It's the low season so less crowded and cheaper to travel.
