Delicious foods of Bazhong

The foods of Bazhong are most famous for Chuanshan bean jelly. Besides, people in Bazhong begin to kill pigs each and every family after Slight Cold every year. The killed pigs are made into pieces, which are soaked in salt for about one month. Then they will be hung on the fire and cured by the smoke of firing cypress branches. This bacon is very delicious and can be kept well for one or two years. The blood of the killed yearly pigs alsois mixed with bean curds, glutinous rice to make blood meatballs, which are prepared for the guests as a special dish among the people. These foods can be easily found in the restaurants besides the roads.
