The Asian Games Village, located in the northern outskirts of Beijing city, is a building complex  equipped with sports, living, business and entertainment facilities. It was built for the 11th Asian Games. The main building of the Asian Games Village is the National Olympic Sports Center, which consists of the Gymnasium, courts, the track and field ground, Sports Museum, and Research Institute for Chinese Martial Arts, as well as the Ying Tung Swimming Center and the General Sports Center. In the north lie residential quarters and commercial centers. There are also the International Conference Center, hotels, apartments, shopping mall, entertainment center and the International Primary School in the Asian Games Village.
