Chaoyang Park is more like fun fair than a park. There is a bunch of attractions, you can go boating on the lake, or just have a ice-cream in the sun, but if you expect the green and calm of a regular park you will be disappointed. It is a large place though, and I have only seen parts of it, but still it seems to have more to do with family fun than anything else. But as such it is probably worth a visit.
