China's biggest wax museum displays 126 life-like wax figures  including Yang Liwei, China's first man in space, Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan and NBA giant Yao Ming. The wax works on display fall into seven categories, covering famous people in such fields as politics, education, science, arts and sports. The museum opened in September, 2004 and it covers an area of more than 3000 square meters.  The  Wax Museum offers a chance to see all of your favorite Chinese historical, political and cultural figures carefully prepared from large slabs of wax.

The museum is part of China's National Museum.
