Ski terrain in the Huaibei Ski Resort is surrounded by mountains topped with the ancient Ming Great Wall.

Huaibei Ski Resort offers something for skiers of all abilities with its 7 trails. 4 are for beginner trails, 2 for intermediate skiers and 1 expert trail. The 7 trails total 3,800 meters in length.

Huaibei Ski Resort has something for those who are not so fond of skiing or snow board. A great variety of snow activities are available; snowmobile, archery on the snow, sleds drawn by horses, to take part in and enjoy their vocation.

Ski season in Huaibei begins in late November and ends early March. The advanced snowmaking system and favorable weather conditions bestowed by mother nature ensures around 1-meter deep snow. Two aerial ropeways take travelers "flying" across the Great Wall and offers them superior views of the Great Wall winding on top of the mountains into the distance.

Huaibei Ski Resort offers a breath-taking scene. The shiny white snow, expansive glades, colorful skiers under the pure blue sky surrounded by the majestic mountains and Great Wall creates unmatched scenery.

Huaibei has a complete set of facilities. There are Hotels and restaurants offering skiers comfortable lodging to deliver a pleasurable experience. All ski equipment is available for rent. A ski school co-established by the ski and the French Ski Association offers lesson on how to ski and how to progress.

"Maybe the best one around Beijing"

I think this is the best skiing field around Beijing. The trails are rather flat, not hard for a beginner like me. You can take a cable car up to the top, and on the cable car you can see the Great Wall, very magnificent!
