The Jingdong (the east of Beijing ) Great Canyon looks like a glittering gem inlaid within the triangle of three big cities of Beijing, Tianjing and Tangshan. To the south of the canyon is the Pan Mountain, to the east lies the Huangyaguan Great wall, the Duyue Temple, the Le Mausoleum of the Qing Emperor and the the Wuling Mountain area. The best season to explore this natural wonder is August and September.

Also called the Wulongtan (the deep pool of five dragons) Great Canyon, Jingdong Great Canyon measures 6 square kilometers. Inside the canyon are  caves, deep ponds, bizarre peaks and splashing waterfalls.  There are hundreds of hectares of pine trees grow in the canyon. Under the upright pine trees there sets up a small villa or a cute log cabin with tents and hammocks inside where the explorer can take a rest. The 30 meters high dam and 30 meters deep water render the zone also a great place for aquatic sports like motorboat riding.
