Grand View Garden Temple Fair, Beijing

Anyone who have read one of the four greatest Chinese classical literature masterpiece - The dream of the Red Mansion (by Chao Xueqing of the early Qing Dynasty) know that the construction of the Daguanyuan or the Garden of Great Scenery was associated with this great book. Each Spring Festival a range of celebration and parties are staged in the park as to welcome the spring. The ornaments, layout and shows of the park all accord with the description of the novel - The dream of the Red Mansion. One of the most recommendable shows is a scenario of the novel called "Princess Yuan Visiting her Parents". Tourist can participate in the performance in which more than 100 actors and actresses in the beautiful costumes of Ming Dynasty escort the sedan of "Princess Yuan" for a tour in the garden.
