Qimu Stone

On the Qimu Stone, there is a huge stone, just as a kind woman sitting on the cliff. The legend goes that the stone is the embodiment of Qimu. Qimu Stone is an attractive scenic spot on Mount Tushan. When tourists pay a visit to Dayu, they will never forget to show their respect to the First Lady of early Xia Dynasty.

Legend of the scenic spot:

Dayu was said to leave home after four days’ marriage, without coming back for thirteen years. Tushan Shi (Dayu’s wife) looked at south every day, waiting for her husband. Unfortunately, though she waited with great anxiety, her husband did not return. Because of yearning day and night, her sincerity affected the stone. Finally, she became a stone, sitting where she met her husband secretly.
