Winter Jujube in Zhanhua, Binzhou

Jujube in Zhanhua has long history of over 500 years. It grows ripe very late every year and is a unique breed of date in Binzhou. Thanks to its large size and reap season, it is called Apple Jujube, Winter Jujube, and Sugar Jujube. Zhanhua Winter Jujube is a quality and rare date breed. It features thin and shinning skin, red color, and crisp taste. Its flesh is succulent, sweet, and a little sour. Therefore it is reputed as “live vitamin”, “king of fruit”, and “the rare fruit under heaven”.
