Changde City is located at the middle of Shimenbei-Laodaohe Railway. The trains from Changsha to Zhangjiajie , Yichang and Xiangfan pass Changde. Besides, there are three regular trains departed from Guangzhou pass Changde: T 360, 2116, K508.

Changde Railway Station is located at the north part of Changde City. Public bus No 15, 17, 19, 20 and 28 can reach the railway station.
