Zifei Restaurant, situated in Chengdu City of Sichuan Province in South China, is one of the restaurants where people can enjoy China’s most popular cuisines, such as the unique Sichuan cuisine with distinctive flavor. Zifei is an upscale restaurant designed mainly for the customers of successful elites, such as political elites, business elites and cultural elites, where they can feel at home and enjoy the comfortable, high-end service and mysterious atmosphere.
In Zifei Restaurant, people needn’t order dishes personally. Instead, they only need to be seated in the private room with a special waiter in each room, waiting for a variety of tasty delicacies coming up one by one until they are as full as a tick. The dishes put on a lazy susan with Chengdu-banquet style are exquisitely cooked that are good in color, flavor and taste, such as a delicious clear soup graced with an edible flower, abalone with slim mushrooms, the turtle with coconut tapioca and pork chased by green-bean juice, especially the magnificent nontraditional venison with the characteristics of tradition and modernity which has traditional accompaniments of peppercorns, chilies, scallions and mushrooms. At the end of the meal, there are usually sweet custard followed by a salty sea slug topped with green chilies and a beautifully cooked Chinese snow pear that is deep-fried in a beignet-like crust. However, If customers admire to enjoy these unique dishes, they need to make a reservation two days in advance.
