It is located at the southeast and 45 km away from Chenzhou City, where the altitude is 400m-1619m. It is the second international hunting field throughout China, and the only one in the south of Yangtze River. Its total area reaches to 100,000 mu, where the forest coverage accounts for 78% and there are more than 130 species of wild animals living there, each of which is large in number. There are 26 species of them in total that can be hunted, such as sambars, wild boars, South China rabbits, badgers, and the like. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, which makes it an ideal a famous scenic spot to spent holidays and prevent sunstroke. Headed by the hunting, it has developed into a characteristic scenic spot of seeking adventure, spending holidays, tourism and scientific investigation.
