Shenzhen Airlines

Shenzhen Airlines is a major airline operating in China from Shenzhen in the Guangdong province. It serves both domestic and international flights and is one of the larger airlines in the country. The airline was founded back in November 1992, but it commenced operations almost a year later at September 1993. After some years of operation, it was able to obtain a significant share of the airline market in China, especially in domestic flights. It is now considered as a promising group in China civil airline. In 2010, Air China became a major stakeholder for the flag carrier after a former stakeholder for the airline declared bankruptcy and sold his shares. Air China is currently using Shenzhen Airlines to expand its presence in the southern China region.

When it was formed, the airline was specifically meant to focus on the Special Zone, which is oriented by market. This makes it easier for the airline management to optimize the airline and its marketing efforts. As a result, Shenzhen Airlines eventually became a leading company in terms of capacity and loading.

Now, its main principle is ‘Serve the mass, benefit the society.” In 1997, it was recognized for its customer satisfaction performance and was awarded by the China Quality Management Association.
