It doesn’t have the regal stately appearance other hotel accommodations have, but Guilin Osthmanthus Hotel has a lot of character. It also gives one of the best views of the famous Li River of Guilin, the authentic Osthmanthus tea, and a wide variety of Cantonese dishes. It gives you a very near access to the sprawling Xishan Park, which is less than 3 kilometers from the vicinity. When you’re tired of the opulence and want more intimacy, Guilin Osthmanthus Hotel is one of the best choices.

Rooms
The hotel only has three room options. These are Twin, Suite, and Queen. All of them, however, can accommodate up to three people, including one child. Children who are over 5 years old are charged with 80 CNY per night for the extra bed.

The rooms are small but comfortable. Many of them have excellent views of the river, the outdoor pool, and the garden. There’s also a fitted living room regardless of your room preference.

Features
Definitely one of the highlights of your stay is sipping the popular Osthmanthus tea in the morning. The hotel has a dedicated tea room for all their guests. They can also partake it with any of the well-loved Cantonese dishes and other selections that are native to Guilin. If you are looking for Western-style menus, there’s Riverside Café, which also offers a more relaxing al fresco setting. The swimming pool isn’t a standout, but it’s more intimate, making it a good venue for small parties or gatherings.

Transport
The Guilin Railway Station in Zhongshan South Road is less than 15 minutes away. If you’re riding the bus to get to the station, choose Bus 16 toward Botanical Garden.
