Granted, Shangri La Hotel in Wuhan isn’t the cheapest accommodation in the area. In fact, the hotel chain is known to be one of the most expensive. However, you don’t set your sights on what’s cheap. Instead, you’re always after for the best value for money. This is what Shangri La is all about. It gives you proximity, luxury, and the ultimate holiday lifestyle while in Wuhan.

Rooms
The grand hotel is composed of more than 400 rooms with varying sizes, depending on the number of occupants. Regardless of your choice, all units have some of the best views of the city and the nearby river. The beddings are posh while the mattresses are incredibly soft and comfortable for the back. To further enhance comfort, rooms include a mini bar and a large LCD TV.

Features
Shangri La Hotel is a very convenient accommodation as far as transport is concerned. The international airport is less than an hour away while the railway station can actually be walked. It’s also centrally located in the financial and entertainment section of Wuhan. Right inside the hotel, guests can pamper themselves in the sauna or salon. This accommodation is also one of the very few that have extensive grounds that are great for sports such as tennis.

Transport
If you’re coming from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, you can head northeast and then travel through River Dew Street and River Lu Street. Take that second right that goes to Cheonan Road and the second left toward River Ching Street. Proceed to 110 Provincial Highway. Take the ramp to S2 and then keep right while on the fork before you merge back to S2. Once you get to S1 Daihuan, choose the exit to proceed to Jinqiao Road. Traverse Wuhan Avenue and exit toward Huangpu Avenue. Make a left turn to Kaohsiung Road and then the first right.
