Day 1 Shanghai Arrival
  • Activities: Airport Transfer (Shanghai)
  • Meals: No Meals

The metropolis Shanghai welcomes you to China! As your international flight lands in the airport, our local tour guide will meet you and take you to hotel for check-in. Have a rest in the hotel. No meals are included.

Good to Know:

  • For your own physical needs, we suggest you stay in and rest from the jetlag. However, if you feel like going out after check-in, we would suggest an easy walk-around on People's Square.
  • This tour doesn't include international flights. But we are more than happy if you contact us to help you book the flights.

Day 2 Shanghai
  • Activities: Yuyuan Garden, The Bund, Shikumen, Shanghai Museum((Audio Guide included)), Jiangnan Silk Shop and Workshop
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

The Bund is a must see site in China. Walk along the pavement to see the European style buildings and our local Shanghai tour guide will unfold the history of Shanghai.

Later, we will go to Shanghai Museum which is the biggest and best museum in China.

Stop by a silk store to learn the silk-making process after lunch. Visit the classic Yuyuan Garden before we proceed to Shikumen, a typical neighborhood of old Shanghai.

Day 3 Suzhou
  • Activities: Our guide and driver will escort you from Shanghai to Suzhou, Tongli Water Town, Tongli Boat Ride
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch at Tongli Nanyuan Tea House
  • Hotels: Pan Pacific Suzhou 5-star hotel  |  Holiday Inn Jasmine Suzhou 4-star hotel  |  Garden Hotel 3-star hotel

Tongli Ancient Town is more like a docile and lovely lady. In the morning, we will drive down to Tongli.

Later, have a visit to the classic Suzhou-style garden in Tongli: Tuisi Garden and take a boat trip along the canel.

Day 4 Overnight train
  • Activities: Humble Administrators Garden, The Grand Canal(Cruising by Hand-operated Boat), Suzhou Embrodidery Institution, Hotel to Train station Transfer (Suzhou)
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch at Pine and Crane Restaurant
  • Hotels: No

As we arrive in Suzhou, one of the most beautiful Suzhou-style gardens will open up to you: Humble Administrator's Garden. The old garden dates back to the 16th century and now holds flower and bonsai exhibitions occasionally.

Have lunch in a local restaurant.

Later, get to the Panmen Gate, which is not literally a gate but more of a a small fortress that was used to seal off the canel to control the boats entering the city.

Then, visit a embroidery institute in Suzhou. you can see artists hand-stitching beautiful art works.

In the evening, you will take an overnight train to Huangshan.

Day 5 Huangshan
  • Activities: Train station Transfer (Huangshan), The Yellow Mountains, Yungu Cable Car (up) and West Sea Grand Canyon, Huizhou Culture Museum
  • Meals: Lunch at Buffet in a restaurant on the mountain

Arrive in Huangshan in the morning. Then, visit Huangshan, aka Yellow Mountains.

Legend has it that Huangdi, the famous Emperor from ancient times, used to live at Huangshan as a supernatural being. Doubtlessly, today you will unfold the legend by yourself.

Day 6 Huangshan to Hangzhou by ExpressBus.
  • Activities: Sunrise and Yungu Cable car down, Hotel to bus station Transfer (Huangshan), Express bus station transfer (Hangzhou)

Rise up early to get view of sunrise of Guangmingding which is regarded as the best place to see sunrise, and take photos. Ever wonder what the life is like if living in Huangshan?

Have lunch and then you will be transferred to Hongcun, an ancient village believed to the picture perfect rendition of a traditional Chinese village.

Later, take a coach to Hangzhou.

  • Activities: Lingyin Temple, The West Lake(including cruise and visit of the Island in the lake), Meijiawu Tea Plantation and Tea Shop, Hotel to Train station Transfer (Hangzhou), Train station Transfer (Shanghai)

Known as Heaven on Earth, Hangzhou has its reputation well-earned. In the morning, you will take a boat trip on West Lake and visit islands.

Later, pay a visit to Meijiawu Tea Plantation and try some tea at the tea shop.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will visit one of the most important Buddhist temples in China: Lingyin Temple.

After dinner on your own, you will take a high speed train to Shanghai. Check in upon arrival.

Day 8 Shanghai Departure
  • Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Shanghai)
  • Meals: Breakfast

Our guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
