Day by Day Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival in Beijing, your Beijing tour guide will escort you to hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own.

- Free time ideas: For your solo adventure, you can take a visit to the Ancient Observatory. If you are traveling with kids, Beijing Amusement Park is a good choice.

The tour will start with visiting Tian'anmen Square for about 40 minutes which is the largest square in the world.

After that, we will go to the Forbidden City which was home to 24 emperors from 1368 and 1911 and is the largest and best preserved ancient imperial palace in the world.

We will head to the Temple of Heaven after our lunch in a local restaurant. Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties held ceremonies for praying good harvest there.

- Good to Know:

  • After dinner, you could to walk around in Houhai Lake area. A mix of serenity and the vibrancy from the pubs at night. It is near to the siheyuan and hutong. Good to explore by walking, cycling or ricksaw.
  • Today is a exiting day. We will hike from The Gubeikou section Great wall to Jinshanling Great Wall. These two sections of Great Wall is less travellers and let us enjoy the natural sceneries along the road. The whole journey is about 15km and takes about five hours. We will pass several watch towers and beacon towers, which only have foundation stones by weathering.

    - Good to Know:

  • Beijing Roat Duck is must-try on travel's list. you could see the staff how they make art out of duck slices and showed how you should eat your duck.
  • Today is a free day for you until take train to Xi'an which will takes an half and four hour from Beijing to Xi'an.

  • If you need a break from the business, crowds and - yes, thick air - Hutong is a great spot for some down time. These narrow alleys offer an authentic glimpse of the old Beijing, before the emergence of high-rise buildings and modern commerce. It is a nice spot to walk around a grab a bite to eat and enjoy with Beijingers.

    Start our Xi'an historic trip to visit Shaanxi History Museum. More than thirty thousands of items on display in the museum record the vivid and long history of Shaanxi Province from prehistoric times to about Tang Dynasty. Have lunch in a local restaurant taste dumplings.

    In the afternoon we will visit the wonder of ancient China: Terracotta Warriors and Horses.

    Good to know:

  • Muslim Quarter is a place to visit for local delicacies and halal food. Walking down the street is an adventure with crowds of people and the odd car and motor bike with trays of goods on board tooting and pushing through the crowds. You could go to here at night by yourself.

    Today is a free day for your own explore the charming of historical Xi'an.

  • You are suggested meet Xi'an's morning at the Ancient City Wall. Walking or cycling around the walls gives a very good idea of the power and importance of the city which was once the capital of the Tang dynasty. It is better to reach the gates as early as 8 am to beat the crowds.

    The morning will be spent with your cute friends: pandas at the Dujiangyan Panda Valley. Have lunch in a traditional Sichuan restaurant.

    Free time explore:

  • Chengdu is all about leisure hours. In the afternoon, you could enjoy a relaxing walk in the Jinli Pedestrian Street.
  • Chengdu's night is never boring! What we recommend is a cup of tea in a traditional teahouse, or a face-changing show of a Sichuan Opera (Shu Feng Ya Yun Sichuan Opera wins No.6 attraction in TripAdvisor forums). Our guide can help you book the show. All the cost (entrance fee, transfer and meal) are on your own.
  • In the mornign,we will fly from Chengdu to Guilin. Have a rest in the hotel and start your own mountain scenery journey by your discovery.

  • Walking along the Banyan Lake and Cedar Lake see local retired people practice Tai chi and folk dancing or you may see a couple taking their wedding pictures.
  • Under Jiefang Bridge in downtown Guilin, you can make a relaxing sunset walk along the Li River.
  • Formerly known as Zhongshan Night Market, now is relocated in Xicheng pedestrian street, where you can find all kinds of stuff ranging from pearl necklace to sugar cane juice.
  • Unfolding Li River by a Li Rive Cruise down to Yangshuo County. It will take about an half and four hours.Have simple Chinese lunch on board whilst the landscape changes along the way.

    You will get to Yangshuo in the afternoon. After check-in, it's your time to explore this charming county.

    Today you will fly to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai from Guilin.

  • Oriental Pearl TV Tower is our first stop. Inside the tower, Shanghai History Museum offers an informative visit with its waxwork display.Have lunch in a famous restaurant.

    Then will visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical private garden in the style of Southern China. It is located right in the hustle and bustle of the Temple of City God. Take a walk along the Bund.

    You will be transferred from your Shanghai hotel to the Shanghai Pudong International Airport in time for your flight home.
