Next, we visit the largest city square in the world- Tiananmen Square. Post lunch, our visit will continue to the Summer Palace where you can explore the imperial past of China and the Temple of Heaven.

Start the day by visiting one of the largest and the best preserved Ming Dynasty tombs- the Changling Tomb of Emperor Yongle built in 1413. Next, we visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall offering beautiful views of the mountains and extensively restored.

- Half Day Seat-in-coach Tour of Ancient Culture of Xi'an: Visit the Shaanxi Historical Museum to explore an extensive collection of relics and artifacts from Silk Road, Song, Qing and Ming dynasties. Next, we visit the beautiful Wild Goose Pagoda, where Xuanzang stored Buddhist classics brought from India. We then visit an ancient Islamic mosque with a history of over 1200 years. The mosque has a mix of Chinese and Muslim architectural styles.

Destinations & activities: One Day Seat-in-coach Tour of Xi'an Historic Relics, , Hotel to Train station Transfer (Xian)

- One Day Seat-in-coach Tour of Xi'an Historic Relics: Visit the famous Terracotta Horses and Warriors, a life-sized army over 2000 years old. After lunch, we move on to the Banpo Site. This area is spread over 50,000 square meters and has burial grounds, pottery area and a residential section.

Destinations & activities: Train station Transfer (Chongqing), Ciqikou Old Town, Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo, Cruise pier Transfer (Chongqing), Board the ship from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and departs Chongqing at 9:00pm.(Dinner is not included)

- Ciqikou Old Town (1.5 hours): Visit the authentic, busy and party restored community of the Old Town. The area has narrow streets and older wooden houses. Close to the river you will find local snacks and food, music, teahouses, souvenir and craft stores.
- Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo (2 hours): The Chongqing Zoo is a great place to observe rare animals like South China Tigers and Golden Hair Monkeys. Spread over 45 hectares, the zoo also has a Panda Room where you will be able to see red and giant pandas. Tai Chi can also be practiced at the zoo with the locals in the morning.

- Fengdu Ghost City: Ancient Chinese legends believe that the devil and evil spirits live in Fengdu. This eerie town is located near the Ming Shan Hill and had once been home to the King of Dead- Tianzi. The town has empty banks, stores, tower blocks and deserted streets.

Sail through the crystal clear and fast flowing waters of the Shennong Stream, a Yangtze River tributary. As you sail, you will see the stream racing past karst caves, ancient tombs, a suspended coffin on the cliff, an old plank path, rapids, springs of three colors, waterfalls, deep gorges, sheer cliffs, swallows and much more.

Destinations & activities: Cruise pier Transfer (Yichang), Three Gorges Dam Site

-Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:00pm.
The dream of Chinese people for generations and the largest project for water conservation to be ever undertaken- the Three Gorges Dam is a must visit. The dam’s construction started formally in the year 1994. By 2003, the dam’s body was constructed. The dam will have a width of 130 meters at the bottom, width of 18 meters at the top, height of 185 meters and length of 2,335 meters. Climb to the top of Three Gorges Dam for great photo opportunities.
