Day 1

Tiananmen Square

Day 2

Beijing

Destinations & activities: Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Guozijian, a pearl store and free time in Beijing

Good day for early risers: morning firstly go people-watching on the biggest public square that is Tian'anmen Square. Enter the Forbidden City, following history's footsteps. Also known as Gugong Museum or Royal Palace Museum, here you will visit Hall of Mental Cultivation, Hall of Supreme Harmony, Palace of Heavenly Purity and Royal Garden.Pay a short visit to a time-honored pearl store before lunch.

After lunch, you will visit Guozijian, aka "Imperial Academy" and was the national central institute of learning after the Sui (581-618 AD). Free to explore the neighborhood.

Many tour groups enter the Forbidden City from the South Gate, with China Travel, you will do in from the North Gate to avoid the crowds.

Guozijian is located inside Guozijian Hutong, where you can delve into the maze of Hutongs or visit Confucian Mansion nearby.

Day 3

Beijing

Destinations & activities: Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall, Bird's Nest and Water Cube and a cloisonné factory

Last night's good sleep gets a full charge for your tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section. Among all the sections, Mutianyu is noted for better views and less crowds. After walking for 30min uphill, a silde way downhill will definitely make you scream out of excitment. Have lunch in a farmhouse restaurant before get back to downtown Beijing.

Stop by a cloisonné factory before your time is dedicated to the Brid's Nest and Water Cube.

Today you will fly to Xi'an.

After check-in and a short break, you will go to one of the seven wonders of the ancient ages: Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Have lunch in a famous Sichuan-style restaurant before drive back to downtown Xi'an.

Xi'an is living in peace and thrive due to the grand ancient defense: Ancient City Wall. Today you will get a close-up to this reminder of history.

Day 5

Xi'an to Beijing (Flight No.TBA)

Destinations & activities: Hotel - Airport Transfer

Today you will leave Xi'an and back to Beijing. Our Xi'an tour guide will see you off at Xi'an airport.
