Today you will go to visit the Terracotta
Warriors and Horse. Being as safeguard to the tomb of Emperor Qin since
210 BC, Terracotta Warriors and Horse has a long history. More than 7,000 soldiers,
archers, horses and chariots in this army. Every figure has its own characteristics
and was made elegantly. Half and one hour away from Xian, there is also an excellent
museum and film about the history of the vaults.
Later you will be heading to
the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a Buddhist complex built with wood bricks
and has some large halls with Buddhist statues and murals. The pagoda is for housing
Buddhist materials brought back from India by Xuanzang (Tripitaka) since 7th century.

This day you will go to the Qianling Tomb, the Maoling Mausoleum and Famen Temple. This whole day is a day tracing history of Chinese emperors.
The Qianling Tomb
is a joint tomb which is for Emperor Tang Gaozong(Li Zhi, 628 A.D.-683 A.D.) and
his wife, Empress Wuzetian(624 A.D.-705 A.D.).
Then you will go to the Maoling
Mausoleum, locating in the north of Xi'an City and 40 km away from the city.
It is the tomb of Emperor Wudi of the Western Han Dynasty (206BC-24AD), the largest
mausoleum of all the imperial mausoleums of the Western Han Dynasty. Hundreds of
the cultural relics are displayed in the Maoling Mausoleum Museum.
And the other place you will be heading to is Famen Temple. It has a long history of over 1700. The most vital treasure is a finger bone of Buddha that offered to the Emperor during the Tang Dynasty. Among the temple stands the Heshi Buddhist Pagoda, the tallest Buddhist pagoda in the world. There is also a museum regarding the temple there.

The last day in Xian you will take a bike to travel around the City Wall. Many people find this interesting and worthwhile to try. It is the landmark of this ancient capital and best preserved city defense system in China. You can enjoy the sunrise on the City wall and appreciate the city view.
And you will also go to appreciate the Shaanxi History Museum, one of the best museums of China. Many hold that the history of Shaanxi reflects the most parts of Chinese history, so that in Shaanxi History Museum you may get a glimpse of this country's history. There are 4 chief galleries in big buildings with Tang-style storing up a vast and important collection.
