Day 1

Lhasa Arrival (Flight not Included)

Destinations & activities: Airport - hotel transfer

When you arrive in Lhasa, our Lhasa tour guide will escort you to hotel for check-in. Prepare yourself with some basic information and physical enegry. Have a good night rest for tomorrow.

- Smart Tips:

It needs 20 days to process Tibet Travel Permit. China Travel kindly suggests you confirm your tour at least 30 days ahead of time.

Please stay in and adjust your body to the elevation on your first night in Lhasa.

The main hall of Sera Monastery

Day 2

Lhasa

Destinations & activities: Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Street

Today, you will visit the highlights of Lhasa. Firstly, visit the famous Jokhang Temple. Later, get to Sera Monastery.Have buffet lunch in a nice restaurant.

Afternoon, you will visit the busy Barkhor Street.

- Smart Tips:

If lucky enough, you will witness the monks in debate in Sera Monastery every afternoon (except Mondays).

Tibetan carpet, Thangka(a painted or embroidered banner), Tibetan fresco painting, butter sculptures and other stuff can be found in Barkhor Street, which can be something nice to bring home.

Day 3

Lhasa

Destinations & activities: Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery and visit a Tibetan family

You will never miss the icon of Tibet: Potala Palace. Later, visit one of the most important monasterires of Lhasa: Drepung Monastery. Have lunch in a Tibetan style restaurant.

Later today, you will spend some time chatting with a local Tibetan family.

Meals: Breakfast, Steak Lunch at Steak House Restaruant

Day 4

Lhasa Departure (Flight not Included)

Destinations & activities: Airport - hotel transfer

Today your Lhasa tour guide will escort you to the airport. Thank you for choosing us. Hope to see you again soon!
