After a fresh breakfast, we will set off to discover Beijing the old yet vibrant city. Firstly walk on Tian'anmen Square, waiting for us is the Forbidden City. Here, you will tour the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Mental Cultivation, Palace of Heavenly Purity and Royal Garden. Have Beijing local cuisine for lunch.

Afternoon time, we will ride through the narrow Hutong.

Learning about the riturals of a royal ceremony, today you will visit Temple of Heaven. Later, we will drive to Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall.

Once a private property of the royal family, now the Summer Palace is open to the world to get a taste of exquisitely-built gardens and pavilions, enjoy a stroll in this grand garden. Later, a local rider will take you to Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Have simple local cuisine for lunch.

You will take an afternoon flight to Xi'an. Before that, just enjoy some free time shopping in town. Arrive in Xi'an after a couple of hours and check-in. The night is free for your leisure.

Activities: Terracotta Army, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and an art center

The first emperor of China, Emperor Qin Shi Huang, had his tomb built along with thousands of clay warriors, horses and battle chariots in hopes to rule his afterlife world. Time gone by and the Terracotta Army remains as evidence of his power. Today we will spend a couple of hours at this wonderful site. Stop by an art center before lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Breakfast and Chinese lunch are included for today.

Xi'an to Chongqing (Flight HU7667 1705 - 1815 for Reference)
Activities: Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarter and dumpling class

The Ancient City Wall is an excellent spot to view Xi'an from height, gorgeous views especially in the morning and sunset. After a walk on the wall, we saunter among the locals at the Muslim Quarter.

Learn to make dumplings at a traditional dumpling restaurant, that skill is definitely something you can bring home. Have lunch here.

An afternoon flight takes you to Chongqing.

For your soon-to-begin Yangtze River Cruise, we choose the 5-star cruise President No.7. After dinner on your own arrangement, our local tour guide will escort you to the pier. Board on and enjoy your night!

Waking up in a bright breeze, today the cruise will take you deep into the gorges of the Yangtze River.

In the afternoon, we will take a land excursion to Shibaozhai. This riverside town is known as the biggest Bonsai in the world for its shape. Back to the cruise after the visit.

Dinner time, you will be invited to a welcome banquet and the whole crew will show you great hospitality. Enjoy a dance party afterwards.
