    If the restaurant indicated is not available on the day, your guide will arrange another restaurant from our list of approved restaurants. Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
  • Private Transfers:
    Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Xiamen by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).

  • Guide:
    As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.

    All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

Day 2

Place & Transport: Xiamen
Today's Activities: Hulishan Fortress, Gulangyu Island, Ferry Fee for Gulang Island, Crag of Sunlight, Suzhuang garden, Electric Vehicle
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Jiali Seafood Restaurant, Baofu Branch

- Hulishan Fortress (1 hour): It was built in 1891, the architecture mainly integrated the style in Ming and Qing Dynasty and the style from Europe. Huli Mountain Fortress is famous for having both the biggest and smallest cannons in the world. And there are many ancient military facilities and weapon, such as the emplacement, the barracks, the castle, the trench, double-edged swords and firelocks.
- Gulangyu Island (4 hours): GulangYu Island is in the southwestern of Xiamen city, it takes just 10 minutes by local ferry boat. There are many famous pianists in China from this island, and the piano ownership rate is the highest in China. There are many colonial buildings built after the Opium War, including the Britain, the America, France, German, Spain, etc.
- Ferry Fee for Gulang Island (10 minutes): It is a world of sea breezes, sunshine and exotic architecture with Mediterranean flavor.
- Crag of Sunlight (2 hours): Sunlit Rock is the highest point of Gulangyu Island, with a height of 93 meters. As you go up to the top, you will see many rocks, pavilions, and enjoy the stunning view of the sea as well as the Gulangyu Island.
- Suzhuang garden (40 minutes): Located at the southern shore of Gulangyu Island, it was built around 1900 as a private villa.Like other gardens, it is a traditional Chinese garden consisted of pavilions, bridges, lakes, towers and hills. Specially, Shuzhuang Garden is connect with the sea, you can enjoy the sea-view along the corridor above the sea.
- Jiali Seafood Restaurant, Baofu Branch : One of Xiamen's oldest restaurants, Jiali specializes im fresh, delicate seafood dishes. Smiling waitresses serve food prepared with high-quality ingredients.

Today's Activities: Yong Ding Earth Buildings(Hakka Earth Building)
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

- Yong Ding Earth Buildings(Hakka Earth Building): Located at Yong Ding of Long Yan area, Yong Ding Earth Buildings is defensive, well ventilated, windproof, quakeproof, flameproof, moistureproof, and it is warm in winter and cool in summer. The most famous buildings are Zhen Cheng Building, Cheng Qi Building and Yi Jing Building.
