Chinas largest tea brick auctioned for 560,000 yuan

China's largest brick made of tea is displayed for auction at the 2nd Cross-Straits Tea Exhibition in Wuyishan City, East China's Fujian province, November 16, 2008. Made from 1,000 kilograms of local white tea, the brick set a new China record as the largest tea brick at 2 meters long, 1 meter wide and 20 centimeters thick. The front of the brick has the Chinese characters "One World, One Dream", the slogan of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Confirmed by the Shanghai branch of the Guinness Book of World Records, the country's largest tea brick fetched 560,000 yuan (US$82,000) at the auction.
