With the weather getting warmer, the plum blossom came into flower this weekend at Meihuashan (Plum Blossom Mountain), Nanjing , and the best time to see plum blossom and the spring Tours began.
 
There are many species of plum blossom at Meihuashan, such as Nanjing Hongxu, a vermilion species, and Button Jade Butterfly. Today’s special focus was the Lovers’ Plum Blossom, as it is Saint Valentine’s Day. The Lovers Plum Blossom trees are two hundred-year old, but they stand erect and embraced each other like a couple of lovers, and that’s how they got their name.
