Kunshan and Zhouzhuang International Tourism Festival to be Held on April, 25th, 2009

2009 China Kunshan International Culture Tourism Festival and the 14th Zhouzhuang International Tourism Festival, whose theme is "Tour to Expo and dating in Kunshan" will be held from the night of April, 25th to May, 3rd. (Zhouzhuang is a typical and age-old waterside village in South China.)


There will be a grand song and dance performance by the riverside on the opening night to reflect the real life of waterside city in South China, during which four chapters including "music", "painting", "drama" and "attachment" will be used to perform more than 2000 years' accumulated culture in Kunshan. Then, a grand show featured exotic flavor will be on stage for two nights along Lou River, accompanied with local folk show, Kun Opera, Chinese traditional stringed and woodwind instrument performance and Pingtan (A performance combines storytelling and ballad singing together).


Intercity direct express for traveling will be put into use from the morning of April 26th. In the 5 separate days after, one city from Shanghai , Ningbo, Yangzhou and Nantong will be fixed as the key popularized city every day, where special price would be offered.


Skills competition among tourist hotels, Miss Expo competition and Cross-strait Food Cultural Festival will be held on 2009 China Kunshan International Culture Tourism Festival coordinated with Chinese Viburnum Art Festival in Tinglin Garden and Qianshan (a village in Kunshan) Tour Festival on the 14th Zhouzhuang International Tourism Festival.
