Shanghai Tourism Food Festival to Kick Off Next Month

The first session of Shanghai Tourism Food Festival will be held during September 13 to October 6. This festival aims to boost the food market of Shanghai, and to build Shanghai into a more attractive food city, as well as to welcome the grand Shanghai World Expo 2010. During this event, four series of promotions will be put forwarded.

 

  1. Shanghai Cuisine Exhibition Week (Sept.13-Sept.19) is to introduce the features and representative dishes of Shanghai cuisine, and several famous brand restaurants are to take part in the activities during the period.

     

  2. Special Dishes Exhibition Week (Sept.20-Sept.26) will display the diversified flavors of Shanghai cuisine, which takes the advantages of other Chinese cuisine and forms its own style.

     

  3. Famous Snacks Exhibition Week (Sept.27-Oct.6) is to display the special snacks of many famous brands, in order to further meet the demand of the consumers. Tourists are able to taste the delicacies exhibited by the brand restaurants.

     

  4. Farmhouse Dishes Exhibition Week (Sept.27-Oct.6) will focus on special farmhouse dishes, in order to further improve the tourist services in suburban Shanghai.

 

This tourism food festival provides people with a great numbers of flavored Shanghai delicacies, and it will surely fulfill tourists with an unforgettable Shanghai Experience.
