China Promotes Nationwide Online Train Ticketing

China's Ministry of Railways has announced that it is planning to offer an online ticket-booking service across the country, as part of its efforts to update the country's Train ticket selling system.

An official at MOR said that China now has a highly advanced railway system, but its ticket selling system is very old fashioned.

The ministry is actively promoting the online booking project and says that people across the nation will have access to the new service in the near future.

However, it is not currently known when and how the online booking system will go live.
