Shanghai Expo Receives More Than 50 million Visitors

Since the end of September 12, the ongoing Shanghai Expo 2010 has successfully received more than 50 million visitors, according to the official website of the Expo Coordination Bureau.

After September, the daily number of visitors to the Expo has a small drop compared with last month's due to the ending of students' summer vacation in China. The number remains within 300,000 in most days, and more during weekends.

The Expo bureau estimates that the numbers of visitors to the 184-day Shanghai Expo, which will end on Oct. 31, will reach around 60 million.
