Beijing ’s first international beer festival

Beijing international beer festival is to be held from July 16th to August 15th on Beijing Crab Island Resort, which is quite similar to Munich Oktoberfest in Germany, when participants can degust various kinds of authentic German beer as well as characteristic German gourmet food.

In the area, there are eight steel glass beer houses with Bavaria-style construction and decoration, each of which can accommodate over 10,000 visitors simultaneously. In those beer houses, tourists can enjoy and appreciate a variety of beers, German broiled dishes and exotic performances. Besides, there are seventeen large-scale carnival activities and over thirty game booths for leisure and recreation.

During the festival, a photography contest for the beer festival is held, with the reward of CNY 120,000. Tourists who are fond of photography can participate in the contest to show their best photos and get the reward.
