According to Hainan Airlines, new direct flights between Beijing and Male of Maldives will operate from November 1st, 2011, which will be more convenient for getting to the famous tropical scenic resort, Maldives.

The flights operate on Tuesday and Saturday every week, costing about 8 hours for a single trip. The flights depart from Beijing Capital International Airport at 9:00 (local time) with the flight number of HU7951, and arrive in Male at 14:30 (local time); then the flights operate from Male at 15:50 (local time), and arrive back in Beijing at 3:00 (local time).

The flights between Beijing and Male belong to charter flights, most of whose tickets are contracted by travel agencies. Most of the tickets of business class and a few tickets of economy class are sold by Hainan Airlines, mainly providing service for passengers in business or on official duties to Maldives.
