The 16th Macao International Trade and investment Fair, Macao's only yearly international trade and investment fair accredited by Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and hosted by Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, kicked off on October 20th, 2011, which lasts for 4 days, attracting over 3,700 traveling merchants and more than 350 delegations from over 60 countries and areas.

The 16th Macao International Trade Fair held at the Venetian-Macao-Resort-Hotel, covering an exhibition area of more than 30,000 square meters, with over 1,650 exhibition booths. It’s themed by “Promoting Cooperation and Creating Business Opportunities”. Taking advantage of Macao’s unique cultural blend of eastern and western culture and exerting trade service platform effectively, Macao trade fair allows exhibitors from various regions to show their products, services and technologies, aiming to promote mutual communication and development.

With fifteen years’ development, the trade fair this year boasts a number of highlights. For instance, 30 characteristic enterprises of Beijing participates the fair, covering various aspects, including cartoon, design, artistic performance, journalism and broadcast television. The exhibition booths cover an area of over 800 square meters.
