Tomorrow is January 1, the first day of the New Year, 2012. From January 1 to January 3 is Chinese holiday for celebrating the New Year. Everywhere is in jubilation atmosphere.
People across the country hold various celebration activities. They gather in squares, hotels, mall for countdown to midnight tonight. Families and friends go out together for enjoying the fireworks display. Businesspersons participate in a variety of New Year parties, children take part in lots of performances. In China, Chinese lunar New Year also comes after New Year’s Day. People start to do Spring Festival shopping now.
