Print CommentOn February 18th, 2012, two giant pandas named Yuan Zai and Huan Huan from Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center of Chengdu City in China’s Sichuan Province made their debut formally in Beauval Zoo in Saint-Aignan of central France, after about one-month quarantine and adaptive phase. According to the research agreement reached by China and France, the two loveable giant pandas that are on loan from China will be sent back to China in ten years.

In the early morning on February 18th, crowds from various regions of France got in long line outside the zoo, waiting to view the pandas. A great many children even painted their faces and were dressed as pandas, showing their love for pandas. Yuan Zai and Huan Huan met the public on the lawn outside panda enclosure, looking leisurely and charmingly naive.
