Qinghai-Tibet Railway Embraces Spring Festival Travel Rush

The Qinghai-Tibet Railway has been in its 40-day Spring Festival travel peak since January 30, according to the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company.

Wu Fei, a leading official of the company, said that his company is projected to carry 640,000 passengers during the peak, a three percent rise from 2009, with the daily number of passengers reaching 16,000.

On November 11, 2009, there will be Bullet trains to start running from Qingdao to Hankou (in Wuhan City, Hubei Province) on November 11th. The train number is D352/3. Shanghai Metro Operator Adds More Trains
