China's Fastest Subway Train to Run in Shanghai

China's fastest subway train, which is running in trial in Shanghai, will become operational at the end of the year, subway managers said Thursday.

 

The train, with a speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour, will serve on the city's northwest-southeast Line 11 and is expected to cover 46 kilometers across Shanghai's Jiading, Putuo and Changning districts when in operation,
