I visited the lake in 2006. The water is very clean, one of the few unpolluted lakes in China. The surroundings are quite, free of the hustle of downtown Lijiang just a few steps away from it. It's a ideal place for a relax stroll. Highlights of the lake is the reflection of the Jade Dragon Snow mountain in the water.
