traveling in China's Wild West

 To discover China's Wild West I took a night train on 28 April from Chengdu to Xichang.

From there it was an 8 hour bus ride to the beautiful Lake Hugo Lu. Two women rowed some students and myself across the lake and the boarder to Yunnan. From there it was another 8 hour bus ride to the crowded city of Lijiang.
