Zhefang Rice is produced in Luxi county, Dehong. It is shining and as white as jade. After cooking, it becomes soft, fragrant, and very good to eat. The porridge made from it is sticky and nourishing but not oily. So Zhefang Rice, with its perfect color and taste, is the best among all kinds of rice, and has been ranked in the list of the articles of tribute to the government in Qing Dynasty.
