Dezhou Braised Chicken

‘Dezhou braised chicken’, also named ‘De Zhou the five spices and bones shed braised chicken’ is the traditional flavor snack of Dezhou City in Shandong Province. It was first brought into being by Dezhou Deshun Restaurant. During the reign of Emperor Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, the restaurant selected a strong and healthy chicken weight about 1000k, deep fried to a golden brown, and then added mushroom, high-quality soy sauces, clove, amomum, anise pepper, baizhi, star anise, sugar and other sauces. The finished chicken boasts itself in pleasant pink color, tender and juicy meat, fragrance of the roast meat, and delicate taste. Dezhou braised chicken has a history of almost a century. Wucheng Xuan Pie
