Xilan brocade is a traditional handcraft of Tujia woven by hands of the local people. With strong smack of everyday life and national characteristics, it can be considered as the quintessence of the history and culture of Tujia. Red as the main color and black as the secondly color, other colors like yellow, blue and white are interspersed on the brocade which is boorish and clear with bright and heavy colors, glorious but not worldly, simple but not tedious, giving people a sense of vividness, energy and liveliness
Where to buy:
Visitors can buy it at the local tourist areas, but the large malls and supermarkets are better choice.
