Enshi Transport
Plains in Enshi mainly fry throughout the province, to Wuhan and Yichang and the only destination outside the province is Chongqing .
Enshi Xujiaping Airport is near the city center, so visitors may go there by taxi at the cost of less than 10 yuan.
There are two planes to the capital Wuhan each day, which respectively take off at 08:40 and 15:30 and will cost passengers 530 yuan and take an hour and 20 minutes
Plane to Yichang is available at 13:40 of Monday and Thursday, which will cost 300 yuan and take 40 minutes.
And passengers can go to Chongqing by air at 10:00 of Monday and Thursday, which will cost 420 yuan and take an hour.

Trains can’t reach Enshi yet. But visitors can first go to Yichang city by train and then transit to coach to Enshi.
Located at the juncture of eastern and western parts of the country, in Enshi there are two national highways and 11 provincial highways with a total mileage of 8155 kilometers. With complicated landform, most of the roads are arduous and steeper.
Enshi Passenger’s Station is beside the western end of Sisters Bridge over the Qingjinng River on the Wuyang Main Street. In the station, there are coaches to Wuhan , Yichang , Xiangfan, Jingzhou and other counties in the prefecture as well as to Chongqing , Guangzhou and Wenzhou. What’s more, long-distance coaches to other counties inside the prefecture are also available at the service station of Qingjiang Hotel at No.4, Wuyang Main Street.

It is very cheap to take taxi in Enshi. The take-off price is 3 yuan for 2 kilometers and the adding price is 1 yuan for each kilometer, and most of the taxis are Aotuo and Xiali.
Besides, motor tricycle called Mamu by the local people are seen everywhere which will only cost you 2 yuan throughout the urban area.
