In November, it becomes cold in many areas of China, especially in North China. The snowfall starts to appear in North China, with the temperature ranges from -1 to 10 ºC in Beijing. In South and Central China, the weather is favorable with comfortable temperature, with the temperature ranging from 16 to 24 ºC in Guangzhou. November marks the beginning of winter and it’s suitable for traveling in China thanks to the few crowds and relatively comfortable weather condition.

North: It becomes very cold, especially at the end of November. Thus, warm clothes, such as down coats, thick sweaters, thermal underwear and scarf are necessary.

TOPLongmen Grottoes of Luoyang

Yellow Mountain, located in the south of the scenic Anhui Province, is ranked as one of China’s best-known mountainous beauty spots, due to its majesty, ruggedness, cloud, flying waterfall, bizarre rock and breathtaking beauty, including oddly-shaped pines, grotesque rocks, the sea of clouds and hot springs. There are 77 peaks that are over one thousand meters. Yellow Mountain is blessed with a variety of scenery varying in seasons. Besides, it boasts dense forests, with an forest coverage of 86.6％. There are about 1,500 species of plants and over 500 species of animals. In 1990, Yellow Mountain was ranked in the list of "Human Natural Heritage protected in the world" by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
Mt. Putuo, as the national key scenic spot, is also one of the four sacred Buddhist Mountains in China. It is blessed with a number of temples, including 3 main temples and 88 monasteries. It is also home to the most famous Guanyin Temple in all over China (Guanyin is the Goddess of Mercy and the patron saint). As Mt. Putuo is located on Putuo Island, it boasts both long Buddhist culture and plentiful island scenery. It is reputed as “the quietest place in the world” by ancients.

In November, when most areas of North China begin to become cold, the weather in Guangzhou is still very pleasant.
