Academic Degree System

There are bachelors degree, masters degree and doctors degree in the academic degree system in China. And there are 12 disciplines in the academic system in China. They are philosophy, economics, politics and laws (politics, sociology, ethnology are included), mathematics, pedagogics (P.E. is included), literature (linguistics, art and library science are included), history, nature science, engineering science, medical science, management science and military science.

Bachelor's degree:  Undergraduates who has finished the requests in the teaching plans, can graduate after the examines. The graduates whose course study and paper have been verified and pass can take his bachelors degree.

 Master's degree: Post graduates in higher institutions or scientific researching organizations, or the ones who have the equal educational background as the post graduates, pass the post graduates course exams and paper defense can get his masters degree. 

 Doctor's degree: Doctors in higher institutions or scientific researching organizations, or the ones who have the equal educational background as the doctors, pass the post graduates course exams and paper defense can get his doctors degree.
