China Statutory Holiday

In China, there are some statutory holidays every year. During those legal holidays, people needn’t go to work. They can have a rest or go on a trip on their days off. The detailed arrangements of the legal holidays in 2010 are as follows:

1. New Year’s Day Holiday: It lasts 3 days from January 1st to January 3rd.

2. Spring Festival Holiday: It lasts 7 days from February 13th to February 19th. Instead, February 20th and February 21st are working days.

3. Tomb-sweeping Day (Qingming Festival) Holiday: It lasts 3 days from April 3rd to April 5th.

4. May Day Holiday ((The International Labor Day): It lasts 3 days from May 1st to May 3rd.

5. Dragon Boat Festival Holiday: It lasts 3 days from June 14th to June 16th. Instead, June 12th and June 13th are working days.

6. Mid-autumn Festival Holiday: It lasts 3 days from September 22nd to September 24th. Instead, September 19th and September 25th are working days.

7. National Day Holiday: It lasts 7 days from October 1st to October 7th. Instead, September 29th and October 9th are working days.
