The applicants are required to have valid passports. The validity period of the passports should at least 6 months with blank page for visa. If the passports abate, the visas on the passports become also invalid.

The applicants must fill in an application form for visa according to the facts, enclosed with an obverse photo of two inches without any hat on the head. If there are any children in company, the applicants are supposed to make it out when applying.

China visas have many types according to the times of entering a country: the visa valid for only once within 3 months, that valid for twice within 3 months, that valid for many times within half a year and that valid for many times within one year. The staying length of time is decided by the visa-granting officials according to the actual situations. The period of validity of visa starts from the applying day.

Please show valid residence certificates and valid visas of Singapore if you have passports of a third country.

The application of visa costs 4 working days. The applicants can demand to get the certificates on the same day (very urgent) or on the next day or the third day (urgent), but you have to pay extra money. There is no need to carry your numbers when getting your certificates. Please pay the cash by No.1 window and get your certificates by No.2 window. If you have fixed on the date of getting your certificates but want to get them in advance, you are required to pay another 50 Singapore Dollars and draw your credentials on the same day afternoon.

If the credence for drawing your credentials is lost, the applicants must come in person with their ID cards. If the passports have already been drawn by someone else with credence, the embassy should not be responsible at all.

Application procedure:

1. To offer valid passports or credentials which have the equal effectiveness with passports;

2. To fill in the application form for visa and deliver an obverse half-length photo of two inches without hat on the head;

3. To deliver the concerning certificates for applying for entering visa.

"Identifying a brass drinking vessel"
posted by ookieanne at 2010-2-27 9:28:00[Closed for answering]

I have a brass drinking vessel very like the one pictured on this site. It was identified by the collector as a marriage cup. The one pictured on your site is identified as a wine cup. On my cup, the lip one side is somewhat wider. Underneath that lip there is oriental script. There is a handle on the cup large enough to fit only one finger on one side only. If one were right handed, and holding the cup, the smaller lip would be facing. It seems to me if it were a marriage cup, there would be handles on both sides. As in your photo, mine has the three legs and two post-like attachments on each side on top. Then the one I have has a geometric type design around the cup area - three rows of squares within squares. My question - is this particular shape vessel then identified with wine only? Or could it also be a marriage cup? It appears to be quite old. If I send a photo, would you be willing to help identify it? I can't seem to find any dealer in antiques that can identify it's aprox age or value.
