I have heard of Hangzhou 's silk for a long time and forturnately enough i got a chance to visit there last month.  All the shops are full of clothes, bedding, and shoes which are made of coloful silk, and the little town itself is of great attraction with all the houses of a South China Style lining both sides of the streets.  You may think that a little vest may cost you an arm and a leg, with a label of RMB300, but  don't swallow the bait and just  bargain.  You just may find that RMB60 will close the deal.

The address of the silktown: 217 Xinhua Road,Hangzhou, China
