Pingyao International Photography is not only an event for photographers, but a grand occasion for photography lovers, local people well as average travelers. During the event, becomes a large open-air photo gallery with photos from photographers including the most eminent and respectable from around the world displayed at each corner. The number of photos displayed is so large that it takes you at least three days to browse through all of them. Although the focuses of the display varies each year, they, with no exception, depict the natural scenery, culture and daily life in our society. Various entertaining activities are arranged and local shows are performed to add more spirits to the event.
